Have you ever had that feeling when you realize two of your favorite songs in the whole world are by the same artist? You've heard the song, can hum along. But somehow you've never gotten around to actually finding out the name of the artist? As for me - I love that feeling! It's like an epiphany for me!
Okay so something like that just happened to me. Okay a little crazier but still it struck me after doing some arbitrary googling on the net.
One of the movies you have got to watch this summer is <500> Days Of Summer. It's brilliant in so many ways. Hollywood has repeated the love story in so many different ways and it's become really drab and predictable. So it's really refreshing when you see this love story with a twist. It's told in parts, randomly interspersed. Brilliant acting. Brilliant stuff. But the highlight of the movie for me is Zooey Deschanel. She's so pretty!
If you know me, you'd prolly know that one of my favourite movies of all time is Bridge to Terabithia. It's one of those Disney films but something about it struck this emotional resonance with me and I still cry every time I watch it! As far as the plot line goes it's nothing exceptional. But yeah. It's one of those feel good movies which is surprisingly mature for Disney. One of the characters in the movie is Ms. Edmunds the music teacher. So when I first saw that movie I was like woahhhhhhh so pretty! And her voice! It's so good!
I've heard all the other versions but it's not the same. This version is just so adorable. But it's so short! :(
Then I almost missed this bit. But she stars in Almost Famous as well! She's the sister in the starting. I barely even recognized her with those funny curler things on. But yeah. Another one of my favorite movies and she stars in that too!
All 3 of these movies are just ah-mazing. You have to go watch them. NOW.
P.S Did you also realise that she's BONE's sister? You know in the TV show BONES? In fact she even stars in one of the Christmas specials as her long lost cousin or something! :D
